Holiday Appetizers

You know that rule, pick 2 because you can’t have all 3?  In my newest cooking video, I am giving you all 3 with these holiday appetizers that are: healthy, easy and delicious.  Yes, you can have all 3 in 1!  Check out the video below for my holiday crostinis and vegan brie and pear Star of David puff pastries. You can make these separately or go all out with a spread of all three on one platter.  Your guests will love them, and I promise not to tell them how easy they are to make!

Tips for Easy & Elegant Holiday Appetizers

1. Take some help from the store and use pre-prepared ingredients for spreads and doughs

2. Use herbs and fruit for colorful garnishes in the colors of the season

3. Presentation is key! Display on a pretty platter in an eye-pleasing arrangement

These are my kind of holiday appetizers.  I want to wow my guests, but I really don’t want to slave away this time of year when I entertain.  I want to be enjoying the festivities as much as they are.  The ingredients are simple and can take some help from the store with store-bought staples, (hummus and cream cheese, for example), or you can personalize things with your own homemade recipes, (such as pesto).

Holiday appetizers

The garnishes, colors, and shapes are all inspired by the holidays so that they mirror the season.  Watch the video below for all of the details or head on over to my YouTube channel and watch it there.
