Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because it brings my family together around one of myfavorite things – food! As a vegan, there is still plenty to eat at the Thanksgiving table – and I am not just talking about sides! Since I am traveling this year for the holiday and won’t be cooking the feast, I started celebrating last week so that I could still try out some new recipes. I made a whole spread from some of the Thanksgiving recipes in Candle Cafe’s new book, Vegan Holiday Cooking. The dishes were beautiful and delicious, proving that you don’t need to make a turkey the centerpiece of your Thanksgiving meal for it to be amazing and satisfying – probably more so!
I have been collecting Thanksgiving recipes over the last month…so many mouth-watering options to try. Below are just a sampling for consideration as you plan your Thanksgiving spread this year. You can thank me later!
To get you in the holiday mood, I have a special giveaway for you from my friend, Julie Hasson, to win a Blendtec 725 Designer Blender. 5 runners up will get her new cookbook, Vegan Casseroles.
